Wow - A story......

People I guess, always wonder what happened to so and so from high school.  I have always wondered that myself, so I made the effort to come out to the 2002 reunion.  I was never around for any of the other reunions (5, 10, 15, or 20), so this was special for me.  I had fun toting a pair of my digital cameras around, snapping pictures of everyone.  Kind of how it was back in the day when I was on Yearbook staff.

So what has happed to me in the past 25 years.....
After high school (during actually) I ended up working at Disneyland like many people did in the area, but I landed in the Entertainment Division after two summers in the gift shops.  Through the course of the all the years, I found myself running all of Disneyland's Parades, like the Main Street Electrical Parade as well as all of the special events as a logistics and events manager.  From 1978 until early 1994, I was making the Disney "Magic" happen for millions to enjoy.  Those events included Disneyland Parades, Hollywood film premiers, The Rose Parade, TV specials, Disney Store Grand Openings, Telethons, Christmas Shows, Disney Marathon....   you name it and Disney has done more than once.  These were the best of times for me.

Then starting in the summer of 1993 I started to get calls to help out on non-Disney events.  So for the past 10 years I have been traveling around the nation producing similar but even larger scale events that I am sure you may have heard about.  Super Bowl Half-Time Shows, Women's World Cup Soccer Championships, Atlanta Summer Olympics, FIFA World Cup, World University Games, Major League Soccer, and the list goes on.

Between my years at Disney and all of my outside events, I have seen the world and done things I can't even begin to describe.  But to say the least, I have lead an overly exciting life, and been challenged to the limits of my mental and physical endurance.

I am trying to slow down a bit these days....  its not easy, but I am getting help.
You see, I recently got married (at the tender age of 42) on September 1st 2001.  Nancy - who I met while in Atlanta while organizing the Centennial Olympic Games is showing me there is more to life that working and being top dog at all the big events.

The two of us live in the San Francisco Bay area where she is based.  I am still producing events, but mostly from a desk in San Francisco.  I head up a Dot-Com Internet Broadcasting company the produces "Webcasts", that enables people from around the world to watch and listen to live events over the Internet with the aide of a computer.  Its not Hollywood or the Olympics, but it keep me at home at night....   for now!

I never turned out to be a working professional photographer, but I am equipped like one.  My creativity sees allot of action designing websites like this one as well as others for both personal and work related topics.

My journey along life's highway has been scenic and very memorable.  I have made 1,000's of friends across the globe, and been re-acquainted with a hand full more at the PHS 2002 Reunion.  I am a lucky man indeed!
